  1. Hi !

    I have a VCD compliant mpeg1 clip which I can't load in
SpruceUP or SpruceMaestro! If I try I get the error message:

Temporal References in GOP #1946 (Zero-Based) are out of sequence (0xc10b000a)

How can I fix this clip WITHOUT reencoding?!?
Can I somehow determine where this GOP #1946 is and
simply cut out 2 or 3 seconds of my video-clip?

    Thanks in advance!!!
    Med.

P.S.: I can play the clip fine on my PC also on a VCD but I want to
put it on DVD now (w/o reencoding!)!

    Hi,
I have M2 Edit and this has a function to re-sequence mpegs. If you can some how send me a link to a file I could do this.

    Is the file VCD compliant?

  5. Hi !

First of all: Thanks for your endurance helping me!
I got Version of M2 Edit Pro 5 but my "tools" menu only says:
    Audio Mux
    Audio Demux
    Transcode
    Dr M

    That's all, no repacketize

Do you have another version or another program?
I really don't understand the differences in the menu structure!

    Thanks again!!!

    Sorry,
I have version 2.2.1 of M2 Edit pro.
I am not to familar with version 5 as I have had no need to upgrade as I only use the repactize function to fix mpegs.

Check through the help file they might have renamed it. There might be something to check the GOP sequence. What does Dr M do? Fix / Analyse mpegs?

  7. Hi !

Dr M analyses the mpeg file. Unfortunatly I haven't find an
option similat to the repactize function, but I won't stop
    searching!

Thanks a lot for trying to help me!!!!!
Maybe you pushed me in the right direction and
I will find some way to solve my problems!

    Best Greetinx!!!

    Hi,
I have an idea. Bob an email off the the authors of the program. They probally can be found in help file or from there website which is linked in the tools section.

Tell them that you are looking for the repactize function which was in version 2.2.1 and could they tell you what has happened to it or what can you do for an equivalent.

  9. Hi !

I found the possibility to repacketice just after I wrote the last post!
Under transcode you have many options and one of them is repacketice!
It just didn't show up in the menu

Thank you again for your help!!!!!
