    I read the how to reencode the audio part already...
    my question is how can I start from the begining???

    I want to rip to vcd...but be able to burn into a DVD-VCD ready, so I'm able to burn 400+mins on a DVDr.

    Rip to VCD as usual but use 48khz audio...and then author as dvd.

    how do I set it in 48khz, in TMPGEnc its in grey...can't select.

    Load the vcd template as usual and then the unlock template that you find in under the extra folder in the tmpgenc template folder. You should then be able to change every settings.
