I have a video file that is already in MPEG format. Can I just burn it to VCD or does it need to be converted? Also, how do I tell what version MPEG it is? Like MPEG1 or MPEG2???
Thanks guys!

Now you start your burning program(nero for example) and you can use that file as the source file for your VCD
How to tell? Well, You can use virtualdub to see it: Open the MPEG file, FILE -> FILE INFORMATION
but usually, if the file is an MPEG file, it's MPEG-1, if it's MPG it's mpeg2, but that rule isn't allways rite, VDUB will show you!Wanne earn something a couple of dollars?
