dvd2svcd problem

Here is my problem when I launch dvd2svcd everything is fine until I press the cd icon. I get this error that say tmpgnc no file can be found then the screen goes right to tmpgnc. It wont even load the ifo files from the dvd. I just keep geeting the error every time I push the go button?? I even have tried to launch it by getting the ifo file but the same error keeps popping up. Please need some help
