I've got a few .vob dvd files that I demuxed into .m2v & .ac3 files so that I can build a dvd. I wanted to build a dvd that would encode the dd5.1 info and also allow music in the background of the menus.
SpruceUp did most of what I wanted, except the background music. So, I'm looking for another alternative.
Does anyone know if Impression DVD-Pro will open these files or what program will do both the DD5.1 and the background menu music?
Thanks![]()

what do you mean , open ?
Impression DVD-Pro handles ac3 5:1 files and of course m2v files .
as for music on the menu ,, i dont remember if it can do that .. i seem to recall it can but im not sure . -
I meant does it allow import of these data streams, but I Think I got my answer.
On another note, when using background music in the menus, does it allow the use of .ac3 streams? I have a very nice surround sound jungle mix that I wouldnt mind being in the background of my opening menu.
Does anyone know what file types can be used as background music? .mp3? .wav? ..ac3?
