HeLp? How can i dvdrip a dvd to a single cd divx?????

Hi, I have some dvd's but i want to make it into a singlecd divx. The movie is around 118mins long and i know it is possible to make it into a singlecd. I tried using easdivx but it keeps crashing on my pc. Is there any other ways i can do this?

It really depends on the compressability of the movie. You are going to want to use Gordian Knot (get it over at Doom9.net) Follow the guide also found over there. Basically if it is a movie that DOESN'T compress well after you do the compressability check all you can really do is make it as small as you can and get the largest CD-R you can (99 min) That should give you some headroom.
