    I have to use the 2 pass VBR in TMPGEnc and the highest quality setting to encode a SVCD or Nero and Instant CD/DVD won't recognize it. Is this normal?

    Did you turn off SVCD Compliance in the Nero SVCD template? I use 2passVBR and burn with Nero.
