  1. I own one of the set top DVD players that forces me to use the Svcd header trick in order to play Svcd's

    header tirck info here

anyway, TMPGEnc usuaily works great and the svcd's play great on my player, but i am having a problem with a few .mpeg's that a friend sent me. TMPGEnc wont finish and the result file is only like 500-600mb when it should be 750-800mb. the completion bar on TMPGEnc goes slowly, then when its about 2/3 done it jumps to 100%. When watching the result file, it ends early. I also tryed running the .mpeg thru vcdgear to try to fix any .mpeg errors but still get an incomplete file.

anyone have any ideas on a way to fix this? or maby another program other than TMPGEnc that may work?

    One topic is ENOUGH.

If the mpeg is corrupt this usually happens...search in our forums for demultiplex problems with tmpgenc.
