I just want to make sure I' doing this the most efficient way. I'm puzzled cause not many of the tutorials or "how to's" use this combination it seems (or maybe I have'nt dug deep enough on this site).

    1. I use SmartRipper To extract the files to the HD.. works fine

    2. Then I use The DVTool to calculate the Bitrate in order to fit on whatever media I want. (LOVE THIS APP, THANK YOU WHOM EVER BULIT IT)

    3. I open the files on FlaskMPEG and convert to DivX. takes a few hours..

Is this how people usually does it??? Or is there better ways to encode the stuff? PPeople always talk about DVD2VCD and stuff... but never FlaskMPEG.. why??? I sit not any good?

Please tell me how I can do this better if possible.
    Thanx/
    Lars

  2. well I use smartripper and dvdx and I thinks its the best everybody has opinions though. With DVDx you don't really need smartripper it will do it all but I have and older dvdrom So I use smartripper to get the vobs then use dvdx as it is faster this way . And personnally I have used the other app your talking about and I still prefer the ones I mentioned .
