    i have a leadtek winfast 2000xp and i cannot capture decently. i tried avi_io but it doesn't have a sound. with iuvcr it doesnt show anything but a black picture. with leadtek's software the quality is good enough for me but the frame skips or picture is "choppy" it jumps alot. i dont know why. plesae help.

    Using AVI-IO make sure that the Audio recording is set to Line IN not Microphone.
    Also, try other codecs in AVIIO
    Try using the Video In not the RF in on that card, you will get better quality of video.
    Look at the Capture Cards feature on this website, you will see alot of people having the same problem with that card
