  1. most of the editting softwares do the cropping or trimming job nicely. my question is: can I cut(excise) the unwanted parts off a clip while automatically joining the gaps left behind? this could be a neat feature to have.

  5. I tried it on win 2k, it doesn't seem working. I used media player 9 to play out the script "version.avs" including just one line "version" in it. the player won't recognize the format. I reinstalled the .dll file. still, it doesn't work.
