Program to seal up open ended avi's?

Hey there
i have in my possesion and avi that didnt quite finish (stopped at 96%) and im really not into haaving to go an restart it. I dunno if i was delusional, but about a year ago on this board someone had the same question and someone posted a link to a site that has a program that can close up the AVI for play back or conversion...does anyone have any idea of that program?

if i was just imagining it, then IS there a way to seal up the video?
its the end credits so i got all the stuff i wanted downloaded already
