Hi - I know that video will definately look darker on my pc than it will on my tv. When I capture mpg using my AIW rage 128, I set the brightness so it looks very dark on my monitor, but after I convert it with tmpgenc and then burn the vcd with nero I get a really good looking vcd with good brightness and color. Here's my problem, sometimes instead of just converting it, I want to do some editing to the video with Media Studio Pro or Premiere, or maybe just do some cutting and pasting with Tmpgenc but the clip is displayed so dark in the programs that I can't even tell what's in the picture, making editing a very difficult and slow process. I played around with the monitors settings and also with the ATI video settings. All that I've managed to do is make the rest of the stuff on the screen bighter, but not the video. The only way that I've been able to see what's on the screen has been by capturing a brighter mpeg which then is too bright when converted to vcd. Anyone know what I can try so that I can see the preview in media studio pro or tmpgenc?
