0SEx 0.0101b keeps crashing on me about 3/4 of the way through a DVD extraction. Is it stable on Jaguar ?

Works great on my G4 Dual 1GHz. Have you tried a different DVD? Maybe it's that particular DVD.

that link you just referenced is not a dvd ripping program, the only other dvd ripping program for OS X is dvd backup, which isnt as fast and doesnt have nearly as many features.

You sure? Take a look at the screenshot links. It shows it decrypting the CSS keys. I'll have to get off my lazy butt and try it out when I get home.

im positive, i've used it plenty of times, all it does is demux streams, it doesnt rip anything from dvd at all, u still gotta use osex first
