What is the differences between Ulead Video Studio 6 and Ulead DVD Movie Factory? These products look similar, I wanted some clarification on the differences to know which one is best for me.

I have tried them both and would say, there is no similarity (except, that they both can burn disks). Video Studio is basic (one track + one overlay only) video editing software with loads off transition effects and filters. Includes basic disk authoring module with some menu templates. DVD Workshop OTOH is DVD (VCD,SVCD) authoring package with extensive menu editor. About video editing it can only trim and encode.

VideoStudio 6 is more a video editing application while Moviefactory is more a capture & then burn to DVD/VCD application. Many products overlap in specs and have weaknesses/strengths.
Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin'
