Right then i am new to all this and just getting started and would like to know from you all boffins who make copying look easy.
I am currently using windows ME and am looking to upgrade my operating system to ether win 2000 or win XP.
but before i put up the cash i would like some info on which is the best one to use for copying as i am sort of thinking of going for the XP upgrade but would like to hear from the masses before i do.
Any info would be gratefully looked at and taken in to consideration.
Cheers to you all that reply to this little question.
PEACE
( MAY COPYING BECOME EASYER TO US ALL)

I don't think OS would play such an important role in copying. You can do copying with any OS as long as you have a decent burnner(lite-on, plexter, ricoh, sony) and a good copying software (CloneCD, NERO).
For your answer, I think XP is the way to go. Win2000 is okay too but I hate to face with complatible issue, especially when you upgrade from old computer. You might have a few complatible issue with XP as well, so you'd better check with microsoft website will all your devieces and softwares you wish to use.
One thing to remember. Clean install (format hdd and install OS) is better than upgrade from one OS to another OS.
