  1. How do I change the frame rate in iuVCR? When I manually change it to 29.97 and the click ok it reverts back to 25 and then when I capture it only gives me an average frame rate of 20. I am capturing in NTSC.

  4. I'm using iuVCR to videocapture using WMV9 and it looks damn good!
    320x240 res and 1min = 4mb.

I just need to get this problem with the fps fixed.

I noticed that it lets you adjust it only to 25... well 1-25 and even though I have everything setup for NTSC and try to choose 29.97fps it want let me.

I also noticed that even though it seems set on 25fps its only doing 20fps!

What the hell is wrong with this thing?

Can anyone help us out please?

  5. By default the program has four options when you choose the color format... it wants to use YUY2 color format, if you try to raise the framerate it doesn't work.

But if you change the color format to the other YUY2 THEN you can change the frame rate to 29.970 or higher.

See the four options are this....
    YUY2
    UYVY
    YUY2
    UYVY

Two of them let me change my fps to the correct NTSC 29.97fps while the other two use PAL 25fps.
So try them out and use the one's that work for you

Also if you ever go back in there it resets itself to the PAL 25fps.
But if you set to the one you want and dont go back in... it will use what you chose.

    Have fun and goodluck!

A guy over at the Rage3D forums helped me figure this out so I give him credit if he reads this
