NO audio in Virtual Dub with AIW Radeon

I've got an aiw radeon running on winxp (sp1). MMC7.2 works fine and is able to capture audio and video. However, when I try to use any other capture program (vdub, avio) it will only capture the video. I have checked the sound settings to make sure it's not muted or turned down. I have checked the recording device so that it's using my sb live. I have tried three different ways of getting audio (auxillary, tad, and line in) all of which I'm able to hear in the capture software while it's capturing. However when I go to playback the avi, it has no audio at all. Please say someone out there has a simple answer for me.

Ditto, only I have a TV Wonder PCI not an AIW. MMC captures video and audio fine, VirtualDub does not record audio. I can, however, hear audio in VirtualDub - just not in the AVI file it produces.

Running VirtualDub v1.4.10 - latest, I presume...

Well I can't even here audio at all when just watching it in virtualdub, maybe someone can tell me some other software to use. All I wan't to do is capture channels that don't display in the tuner. I have digital cable so I just want to come out from the cable into the cap card. I see the video in virtualdub so if I can get the audio that would be great.

got the same problem. I have a ATI 7000 video card and the TV Wonder PCI capture card and I too get no audio when capturing with Virtuadub. I do get video when i choose capture avi but the final product, no audio! I am sorry I could not help but iI am hoping someone else can fix our troubles. Thanks in advance.

Well I got it to work. All I did was install WinDvr and then uninstalled it and I now have audio in virtualdub. Go figure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
