What virtualdub filter settings should be used to properly convert DV source material to Ligos LSX standalone 3.5 encoder?
I've tried virtualdub levels filter 8-235 -> 0-255 but the result is a somewhat too bright and saturation is a bit low.
I've seen conflicting claims of 8-235 and 16-235 for DV.
What is the exact calculation for DV -> 0-255 for LSX (or any other encoder which doesn't handle DV natively)?
