    I cannot backup my DVD-Rs either using DVDDecrypter or trying to copying across in windows.

    I get this error in decrypter

    Device: (2:0:0 ) Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-104 (D

    ScsiStatus: 0x02

    CDB;A08 00 00 17 05 F0 00 00 00 01 00 00
    Interpretation: Read ( 12 ) - sector 1508848
    Sese Area: f0 00 03 00 17 05 F0 0E 00 00 00 00 1 05
    Interpretation: L-E Uncorrectable Error

    ...simliar messages for both DVD-Rs I have tried.

    Any ideas...

    ok here is the not to pretty answer I also have the same bother!! the dvd plays fine & has no errors but asoon as I try to make an image with any other drive apart from my pioneer writer it gives me the same error!! would love to have an answer also to this m8!

    Try Smartripper 2.41 in backup mode. It creates a VIDEO_TS of the DVD which can be burned with Nero. I use this method to copy single layer DVD's.
