Tell me how did you burn it on your CD?Using What Burning Program?
What was the file format before you burned it on CD ex.(DivX AVI, Mpeg)?
And did you convert the file format before you put it on CD or you burned the CD without converting the file format? -
Well the burning program i used is called CeQuadrat and i used Video burning, stupied of me i guess. I burned out the file as Divx AVI and i didnt convert it or something. And now i get a mess and it says " Cant play back the file. The format is not supported"
And the error on the windows media player is 80040265. So here i stand now. Help me

FIRST, do some reading of the guides, they will answer your questions and that's why they are there.
Second, DL the NIMO codec pack, maybe also a Divx player. Not familiar with your software but you can't burn a Divx as Video, burn as a DATA disk. This will only play in a PC with the appropriate software.
Did I mention that the guides to the left will answer your questions, although you do actually have to read them. -
I agree with Nelson37
I would suggest you try updating your Mindows Media Player to the latest version. If you already have it re-installing it might be helpful. Also make sure you have the latest DivX AVI codec installed I thing they are 3 of them and one of them comes with the DivX Avi Player which you can also try and see if it works with your movie.
Also if you have a friend or someone that you know that has a computer try testing the CD and see if it works on their computer, because you might have problems with the CD and not the actual movie file.
I hope this will help you
GOOD LUCK -

You need to download some programs, take a look to the left there is plenty to help you there.
You will need TMPGEnc and Virtual Dub, but you need to do a bit of reading first -
