heres the prob i downloaded a movie(avi)the quality is not that great,i thought of running it through virtual dub(filters)to try and improve it a little before converting to super vcd with dvd2svcd,has any 1 got any ideas on which filters to use,help would be great.....

If your source is a poor DivX there is almost certainly nothing which is going to make it better. Your best bet is to convert to VCD, because it doesn't sound like SVCD is worthwhile.
