Vanilla Sky on one DVD-R?

Has anyone had any luck ripping Vanilla Sky onto one DVD-R? The stripped VOBs alone are over 6 Gig. I started resizing it using ReMPEG, but the quality was awful. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have done it using CCE 2.64.1.10. Quality was great and it worked very well (audio was sync'd).
My steps:
DVDDecrypter to rip
IFOEdit .91 to strip all I could
DVD2AVI to create a project and demux the audio
VFAPI to create a psuedo avi (to be read by CCE)
ChapterXTractor to get chapter stops
CCE Singlepass
CCE Multipass VBR 3500 Avg bitrate
