Well, I must admit that I tend to use DVDx, even if it's too easy to get good results. I kinda like that feeling you get when you have three or four command line tools running and interacting in the most confusing manner possible, making the occational bleep or printing some gibberish on the screen (bleeps and gibberish to the rest of the world, that is - invaluable pieces if info to you! ).
But, not even I can find any real excuse for those beloved command line tools. Pop the DVD in, enter a few parameters (like how many CD's) and hit it!

Got me there! Must have mixed it up with some other app....
What I meant was: start and end frame and bitrate

  5. Depending on what Quality you want to accieve... I suggest you burn to SVCD's, they have a good quality and a movie of 100Mins can be fitted on 3(to 4) CD's, depending on the kind...

(Very easy to know, a CD that can contain 74Min of audio, can contain 37minits of MPG (SVCD) video)

  7. Baker,
That is what I have done.
Just testing it now on Face Off, and purchased a VCD, MP3 Walkman today, so I will see how it performs.
