    hello,

is there a way to let virtualdub handle mpeg2 (svcd) files??

is there a hacked plugin/driver available or modified virtualdub?

You won't be able to cut it with virtualdub, as I recall it can't even export MPEG1 files on its own. The two programs that most people seem to use for MPEG2 cutting are tmpgenc and bbmpeg. I've heard bbmpeg is a little better than tmpgenc for cutting, so you might want to try it. There's a guide to it on this site that does a better job of explaining how to use it than I can, so I'll just refer you to http://www.vcdhelp.com/bbmpegedit.htm.
