Hi, i got the sub file for star wars 1, it was out of sync, i made all the changes, all the sync... then i multiplexed it with the avi file with submux from vobsub... after this i deleted the sub files cause it was allready done...
playing the multiplexed avi i have all the subs perfect and in order, but when making the conversion, with tmpg or virtualdub, the subs aren't there... solution???

I'm having the same problem. I've tried setting them to forced in dvdmaestro one by one, setting the track to forced in ifoedit, no good. Best I was able to do is get the sub titles to show up when I selected their track manually to on with the stand alone dvd player. There were very few of them in the movie, but it does take away without them. One more post saying they are encoded in the video stream and I think I will scream...
