  1. 1] Do I cap to my hard drive from my CD player throgh my tv card with any old cap program?

2] Do I burn the wav file to my cd-r's? Do I have to convert the wav to mp3?

3] Do I need any special sotware (other than vdub (etc.), tmpg, nero) to accomplish this?

If you have a CD writer, you use the prgram that came with it to make exact copies or copy whatever tracks you want to your new CD. Nothing special about it.

  3. That means I need another CD Rom drive in addition to my Cd Writer correct? Is there any way to copy the tracks to my hard drive and go from there?

Every burn program has a "save to hard drive before burning"setting,
it usually is in options or preferances.I recommend getting a cd ripper
program such as CDex(one of many freeware programs)so you can
save .cda to whatever format you want.
P.S. saving to .wav you can burn without converting.

    Fmctm1sw:
No, I can copy by swapping CDs in the burner. The program has prompts (put or original in, now take it out and put blank CD-R in).

  6. Gentlemen, thanks for the help. Here's my hypothesis:

1] I'll use Nero to save the audio tracks to my computer.
    a. I have more than one cd I'd like to use as a source, so I'll just save
them all to my hard drive.
2] I'll use Cdex (where do I get this?) to save the tracks as wav files
3] I'll burn the wav's to my CD-R in whatever order I want and have my "Super favorites" CD.

Other note: I'll be able to use the "next" and "previous" buttons since each wav will be it own file on the CD-R right? What other formats should I be concerned with? Should I just stick to wav (real big?) or not?
