I'm new to ripping VCDs so I hope u can help
In the "Advanced" tab in TMPG I am unsure what to put in the "Source Aspect ratio" box. I've read that I should use VGA(1:1) if it's gonna be played back on a PC and 4:3 625 line (PAL) if it will be played back on PAL TVs. I wanna make a mpeg1 where people can watch on a PC or burn to a CD if they want. I'm unsure which one to use. I'm new to this and I just wanna get it right.
thanks

If your input is an AVI file ( divx, xvid, whatever that play ok in MP ) use 1:1 for your input source aspect ratio. If you captured it off TV you ca set it to 4:3 and be confident it will work.
For DVD's that are native 16:9 you will have to ask someone else.
