I use TMPGEnc a lot and think its a great program, I am just having one problem that is really bugging me that I cant figure out.
I convert downloaded divx files to VCD compatible mpeg1 and then use the merge and cut option to split them over 2 cd's, no problems at all works perfect every time.
The problem I am having is that I have some discs which I have burned onto 99 minute media (these discs play perfectly), which I want to copy for a friend onto 80 minute media. I do not have the original mpeg file just the 99 minute discs so I have to extract the mpeg file from the disc and then use TMPGEnc to cut it.
When I play the 2 cut files the first one is fine, but on the second one the audio cuts out part the way through. I have tried this several times with the same result each time. A friend of mine has also has the same problem.
I have tried extracting the mpeg from the VCD using VCDgear and also just copying and renaming the dat file, with the same result. Sound cuts out on second disc.
Anyone else come across this problem and have a solution.
Craig

Before cutting the file, load it into Gold Wave. Cut out the first part of the audio, save the audio for the second. Remux you second video file that you cut normally with your new audio file.

try after you copy the .dat file from the 99min. CD-R 1st rename exstention to .mpg then remux the file then slit it, this works for me all the time.
