  1. Hi

When i open a divx in virtuadub it sometimes gives me a problem with the sound like VBR incompatible, ... but when i play the divx the sound works very good, nothing there to worry about. But when i want to convert a divx without that problem it takes me 1.5 hours, when i got that problem, the sound seems to be messed up a lot. And TMPGenc says it takes 5hours. Once i let it finish and the sound stopped after a few minutes so plz help me. Convert to wav is not a possibility cuz the sound isn't synchron then. (srry for my english)

Thats because of the VBR MP3 in the avi file.
Most of those file made with a programm called " Sorry, canīt remember "

Iīve got the same problem with 1 movie, too. ( Never solved it ). But most of them worked great.

So try to use the programm avi2svcd or DVD2 SVCD ( you can switch the input to avi file ). That mostly solved all problems with messed up sound.

    Try it.

or look through the forums, and find where this question has been answered many times before. basically, you need to extract the sound as a wav using VDub, and use that as your audio input
