Hey guys is it true that you cannot rip a DVD to DVDR in Windows 98? Do I need to go by NT or something else or is there another way?

No, You can rip in Win98, but you will be limited to 4gb file size do to the limitations of FAT32 file format.

I do all of my dvd to dvd-r in win98. The vobs are 1gb so I have'nt had a issue even when transcoding to a 4gb video stream.
