    i have a .bin file of a vcd.. i can use win iso and extract the AVSEQ01.DAT but how do i convert the dat to mpg?? renameing wont work because xp wont let me change the file extention.. HELP!

    You don't need to convert it to anything, all VCD authoring programs will let you load the .dat file in.

    You can also load the .dat file into TMPGEnc if you need to, and Vdub (Mpeg 1) the .dat files is already a mpeg 1 if its from a VCD
