Hmmm... now I just have to filter and encode all of it !!!!

What are you capping? Course you could increase your capture time by using one of the new Seagate or Maxtor 360 Gig drives or using the new standalone DVD recorders like the Panasonic DMR-HS2 or Toshiba RD-X2. So, long record times are no longer a problem...

Just captured the entire Dead Zone marathon all 13 hrs worth. I cap to PIC MJPEG Q=18. I think the 140GB of capture space and 30gb of temp space should hold me for a while.

Since shows like that have been posted repeatedly to the usenet group
alt.binaries.multimedia.scifi for the past several months, unless you are going to burn these to DVD after editing them I no longer see the point. Currently, I've been doing my experimenting with the hope of capping many older series (as per several requests) and posting them to usenet. Much more satisfying...
