Hey all this is to the gamers that know there stuff...I was recently browsing online and I saw some sort of file that allows you to play VCD's on your dreamcast? Has anyone ever tried this or know anything about it? If it works i'll download it later today.

Yes it works. It should be an image file to burn to cd. I tried it out with the Barbershop VCD. However it does not play it nearly as well as a DVD player would (Dreamcast, was not made to play VCD's). You can give it a shot. I don't know if it plays SVCD's, never tried it.

I've tried it and it works pretty well... you don't need an adapter or anything...
I used the product that starts with a g, but i can't remember what it was called... just make a mpeg-1 complient stream and the software comes with instructions on how to burn it... and in about 10 mins you'll have a dreamcast that plays moviesYou win some, and you lose some, and some get rained out... -
