No picture in preview window

Have just installed the ATI-TV Wonder VE card and want to capture video from a VCR source. However, there's no picture in the preview window so have no idea when to hit the 'record' or 'stop' button

I have the following drivers already installed:

Is this the proper setup or are there some possible conflicts here? Am I missing some drivers?

Check for options like Preview, Overlay on/off. Also, when you capture more than x240, you have to turn off overlay, and use only preview mode.
