How to transfer movies and play them in a playstation 2

Hi; very simple. I have some movies in my pc that I would like to play in my PS2. What do I need to do in order to do this? Do i convert them to VCD and them burn them?. Am i missing something?.any help will be really appreciate. Thank you before hand.

Very simply you should have searched before you asked. PS2 can not play VCD, SVCD, you would need to burn your movies onto DVD-R in DVD format. No other way and not with the mislabeled JadeVCD PS2 kit. Even if you went that way, you'd need a modchip.

Thank you, I have been told from other people that I have to transfer the movies to VCD and play them in the PS2. Anyway I will check about your answer. Thank you alot.
