I've had several VCD's recently that played perfectly on my computer, yet when I play them on my DVD Player, they're completely out of syn.
Is this likely to be a DVD Player issue or is there a way of fixing this?

Are they standard VCD or XVCD? If they are XVCD it may be a bitrate issue (too high) if not I would say it is a DVD issue....they are sometimes picky. What program are you using to burn? Are you sure you are producing EXACTLY compliant VCD files?
