  1. When I analyze my mpeg2 file in VCDeasy i get these warnings:

mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'next_I_offset ': [00:01.1e]
mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'forward_I_offset ': [00:0a.0d]
mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'previous_I_offset': [00:01.1e]
mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'forward_I_offset ': [00:0a.10]

    etc....

Does anyone know what they mean?

  2. VCDEASY churns out lots of warnings.
For the most part, just ignore them and everything will be fine.
Is your VCD burning OK ?
I think many of the warnings are geared to the fact that some burns may be of the non-standard variety.

  3. TMPGEnc doesn't up the correct offsets in the MPEG-2 file for SVCD (rather, it uses the CVD style offsets).

To fix this, either use bbMPEG to remux first, or set VCDImager to "update scan offsets" for the MPEG-2 files.

    Regards.
