Only hour and a half, that's fast alright. for someone might take 7-8 hours to convert only 1 hour movie. Or some might take day. lol

There are two converters that are quicker:
xing is 2 times faster and cost is around $250 dollars
cinema craft almost 4 times faster cost is around $2000 dollars
Now this is the reason most people use tmpgenc FREE.
You should peek at the comparisons page as well. (look left)
The other thing you can do is get a faster processor the are getting cheaper by the day.
Hope this helps

P.S. I should take my own advice it takes 6 hours for me to convert with my 400 mhz. But I'm not complaining 8 hours(2 hours to download) to get a free movie isn't bad.We were all NEWBIES once and the only stupid question is the one that's not asked?
