  1. and it turned out shitty. It was 44MB for 2 minutes, which sounds about right for a .m2v, no? But the weird thing is, it wasnt listed as a .m2v but rather just an mpeg. The sound is REAAAAAAAALy low even tho i turned it up while recording. I set the capture at 480 by 320 or something like that for ntsc in virtual dub, and then converted in that tmenpedfgfdfgd whatever it is prog. LOL - i need help - i must be doing something wrong.....

    What program did you use to capture the video, and did you use a template to encode with TMPGEnc?

    Remember, we newbies need to read the newbie guides to get our bearings. Anyway, after you have captured your video in Virtual Dub.

    Load TMPGEnc. If the wizard opens, close it (for now, anyway ). For the video input select your Virtual Dub-ed video file. Select Load. When the Open requester pops up, select the NTCS template.

    Select Start. What does the finished file look like?
