Hi there,
I would like to generate an SVCD from the video recorded using Sony PC9 camcorder. I'm using DVMotion to capture the video from the camera and tmpgenc to generate the mpeg2 files (using NTSC under the Super Video CD option in the wizard). I'm burning the cd using nero as a SVCD.
The picuture looks great but the sound is slightly distorted: I can hear a whistling like sound particularly when there is speech in the video. This happens even when the speech is not very loud (i.e., the subject was talking in normal conversational volume).
Note that when DVMotion is capturing the video, it says 25 fps, whereas the NTSC setting in tmpgenc says 29.97fps. Could this mismatch be the cause of my problem?
I'd appreciate any help in the matter.
Thanks.
