I used to make great Svcd's from divx. Recently they all seem to have intermittent audio sync problems when playing in my dvd player. Thinking something could be wrong in the player, I tried some that were made 3 months ago and they played fine.
I use Vitual dub 1.4.10 to extract the audio and TMPGEnc 2.57 to convert the divx to mpeg2. Could up grading to these newer releases from older cause this problem. I am stuck for an answer on this one.

Are they made from the correct frame rate that you are converting them to . ie. 25fos to 25fps and not 23.9>25. Litterally is your DVD player a PAL and you are using a NTSC film, or visa versa.

When you Vitua Dub to rip the audio are you putting the full precessing setting on as well as selecting 41000 in the compression or conversion tab.

Full Processing, Conversion from 48kHz to 44Khz.
Nothing has changed in the way I do things. The only thing I could think of was a version change. I know it is not my method.
