  1. I just downloaded a 3 cd svcd, when I try to play it on my standalone dvd the image doesn't stop shaking. When I play it on my pc with powerdvd, everything is perfect. I copied the videofile of the svcd to my hd and wrote an svcd again with it. Same result. When I now convert this file to divx and then convert it to vcd it works like a charm but ofcourse with quality loss. Does someone know how to resolve this prob so I can keep the svcd quality ?
For your info, my player has no prob with other svcd's or vcd's so I don't think that's the problem .
    Thx guys

  2. After you got the file from disc to your hdd. I would suggest you to try to multiplex with MPEG2-SuperVideoCD(VBR) first then author back to SVCD again. It might work.

  3. Well I found out that even with multiplexing the problem wouldn't go away, so what I did was copy the avseq01.mpg file to hd, than let TMPGenc use this file as source to create an svcd with cbr and everything works out fine, no more quality loss only disadvantage is that it takes up to 2 hours/cd and the movie consists of 3 cd's so that's a 6 hour job.
Thx for the help anyway m8
