    Anyone know why the sound disappears after approx 5 min of watching tv? If I hit the mute button twice the sound comes back.

    I have the Hauppage WinTV -dbx (Stereo sound and radio capability)

    Sound does not cut out using other software.

    I am having this problem with WinTV2000 by Hauppage.

    Correction, sound comes back after hitting the mute button once.

    Another correction, sound cuts out with PowerVCR II as well.
