  1. Hi,

Can anyone please tell me the best deinterlace setting to use with TMPGEnc. I have previewed most of them and I can't see much difference so why are there so many and what do they do?
    Take care

  2. My advice is, don't use these built-in deinterlacing filters, which are just some various blend fields combinations. Use some excellent outside deinterlacing filters, such as Decomb or GreedyHMA.

The best way is to proccess your video before going to TMPGenc.
If you don't want to do that, then I vote for the even field (adaption) de-interlace method as the best tmpegenc option.
This is my opinion of course, other users may have others
