    I've recently downloaded the new Eminem movie - 8 Mile,
    However, this wont play on any player I throw at it,
    WMP says needs DX50 Codec - but i cant find it anywhere

    How can i get it ?
    or what alternative is there, different player etc?

    the DX50 codec is usually referring to Divx 5.0 You can get it at http://www.divx.com/

    If this doesn't help, then you should look for the Nimo Codec pack, which includes several odd codecs that should help you.

    Nimo has DivX 5 (spy wear) Nimo lite does not have DivX 5
    Search kazaa for the "KJ codec pack"
