    Search Comp PM
Recently I have started using tooLame as the external mp2
encoder with TMPGEnc.Here are some doubts which I would like
    to have cleared.Please help.

    1. Is toolame better than tmpeg for audio? Which version of
    toolame is recommended?
    2. How do I change the encoding parameters? Should I use the GUI?
    3. Should I use psychoacoustic modelling 1 or 2?
    4. What does this error mean - "Inefficient pcm input for one frame.
    Fillout with zeroes..."
I always get this error, but the output has no problems.
    5. Eventhough I use the same bitrate, I get a smaller size file with
    toolame, than with tmpeg alone.

    Thanks in advance,
    Keith

  2. A search here will bring up a few TooLame vs. TMPGenc fights. Er, discussions. Me, I've used them both, couldn't tell a difference, so the next time I installed TMPG I just used it for audio. I notice a HUGE difference between DVD2AVI audio and GraphEdit audio, (GraphEdit being much better), but not between Toolame or TMPG.
