  1. I have downloaded some files using kazza ....some avi files..
    its stated as divx format or something..
    when i try to burn using nero, it eithers trys to encode but after 5% it hang the programe....or else i cannot even drag the file to the table ...
    it gives me as an error saying not enuf memory..but i believes tats not true.
    Funny thing is tat i can view the file using windows media player too..

    can anyone help me with this?

    Window Media player can show the properties of the video (file-> properties-> advanced) and the codex used to decode it. This should give you an idea of format. As for nero doing the convert, use somthing else, nero isn't great anyway and not he most stable. TMPG is better for conversion and not too hard to use in wizard mode. Also which Mpg/mpg2 codex do you have installed, I found the elecard (?) mpg codex caused my version of nero to crash. Nimo codex pack solved this problem for me
