I have tried unsuccessfully to Multiplex & Simple Multiplex several files, but it always returns the same error:
"1275938 s Packet Underrun"
Of course it takes about 2 hours to get to this point and although I seem to get initial audio on the Multiplexed MPG there is actually none in the film itself.
Does anybody know a fix for this or a program that will Multiplex better than TMPGEnc, or even a program that will exact Audio from DIVX better than LSX which at $178 really should do... Sorry am a little frustrated having spent several days trying to accomplish what should be easy...![]()
TIA
Simon.
P.S. TMPGEnc will do WAV and MPV to MPG SVCD but the quality id low and I have a DVDr but it needs MP2 to do Multiplexing which I think is causing the problem. So anybody who know of a prog that will Multiplex WAV's please let em know.

Try bbMPEG. It's much better. TMPG's muxer doesn't even have a progress meter, so you never know what's going on and often think it freezes or crashed.
Don't think WAV can be muxed nor is it used MEPG-1/2. AC3 and MP2 surely can. bbMPEG can do it. -
its a little work trying to figure what you are trying to do ...
let me see-
1. you are trying to extract a wav file from a divx (which may most likly be a mp3 or a ac3 file in fact)
2.you are trying to multiplex the above file with your mpeg video file to make a .....
are you making a dvd or a svcd ? because you mention both ...
if the divx has a ac3 file you can load it directly into tmpgenc (which contrary to your statement can make excellent svcd's)
OR
you can extract the ac3 file w/ vdub or avinfo and convert to to a wav file w/ besweet (i prefer to always extract and do audio and video seperate)
if its a mp3 file in the divx - the same above can apply except you would extract it always most likly (excellent guides on the left)
if you are making a svcd i would suggest using bbmpeg to do the muxing or tmpgenc will work also. most likly you will need to convert the audio from 48 to 44.1 which can be done in besweet or tmpgenc if you have installed the external apps for audio. svcd use mpeg 1-II audio , not wav file and not mp3 or ac3 files ..
if you are making a dvd you dont have to mux the audio video unless your authoring program requires it ... dvd need 48khz sample rate audio and can accept wav file (pcm uncompressed) or mpeg 1 -II audio or AC3 or dts (with some restrictions on the above) and not mp3 -
Sorry if it is a little confussing I will try to Clarify.
I have converted the DIVX to MPV using LSX 3.5 whihc can't handle the Audio, so I have used Virtual Dub 1.4.7 to extract it as a WAV, I have then used TMPGEnc to convert it to MP2 and am then trying to make a large MPG by Multiplexing them so I can put it as an XSVD on to DVDr which works well with my DVD Player.
But thanks for the tips I will check out BBMpeg
Thanks
