  1. hey,

I'm Having a major problem. Whenever i try to convert an avi, when it's about 99% done, it keeps telling me that i don't have the right dvd software, so i can't play back the movie. Then i press ok, and it deletes the conversion and starts all over again. It is VERY annoying. I'm open for suggestions.

    Thanks a million.

i have to apologize to everyone, because i put the same post at the end of three threads when i first visited this site. I'm new to this site, and i didn't know that i could create a new post, so i added a reply to another post. I'm sorry if i have caused any inconvenience to anyone. Thank you.

    Thanks a million.

  4. Probably the reason you can't get a response, is you are not providing enough information, like...
    1) What capture card are you using?
    2) What is your processor type and speed?
    3) How large is your hard drive, and is it designated just for video capture/editing?
    4) How much memory (RAM) do you have installed?
    5) Is your OS compatable with the program you're using for capture?
I don't know everything, but I do know that people here are willing to help you with your problems if you give them enough info.

  7. i solved it by changing the priority in the settings menu.
if u are having the smae problem as me, do what i did. Launch TMPGEnc> go to Options> Environmental Settings> VFAPI plug in> Right click on AVI VFW compatability Reader, and click on higher priority until it reaches to the number 0. It worked for me, it might work for you. I hope i was of some form of help.
